Andreotti, born in Pescia on June 15, 1875, was a renowned Italian sculptor. Following successful exhibitions in various international venues, he actively participated in the First World War. Upon his return to Florence, he dedicated himself to teaching sculpture and continued to produce works in marble and bronze until his passing on April 4, 1933. Among his most famous works are the monument to the Italian Mother in Santa Croce in Florence and the Risen Christ in the Victory Arch in Bolzano. His artistic legacy was honored with a Retrospective Exhibition at the Venice Biennale in 1934.
