Severino Annoni was born in Bergamo on 11/16/1911. He began painting as a self-taught artist in the early 1940s. He was registered in the Register of Artisans and in the Bergamasco Artistic Club as a professional painter; he loved to repeat that the true artist does not despise the work of others and paints not only with colors but also with his soul. He held personal exhibitions not only in Bergamo and its province but also in various cities in Italy, always receiving valid and positive acclaim from the public and critics. It is difficult to establish how many paintings he painted in many years of his profession because his works are found in various collections both in Italy and abroad. He died on 10/31/1975 in Bergamo, a city very dear to him where he is also buried.
