Franco Anselmi (1950 - ) was born in Vittorio Veneto (Treviso) in 1950. From his earliest childhood he demonstrated his inclination for art: he immediately stood out in school for his propensity for drawing and plastic manipulation. However, his studies were directed towards sectors other than the artistic ones: first he graduated as an electrotechnical expert, then the University, he graduated in Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures and then Sociology to complete his cultural background. However, the passion for art is always present. Painting mainly as a self-taught artist, he learned the techniques and principles of painting from the best artists in his area. Continuing to paint semi-professionally, he was a teacher until 1994, then, given the numerous invitations to hold exhibitions in Italy and abroad, he closed school and dedicated himself fully and continuously to painting.
