Angelo Maria Spinazzi (1693-1770) was a silversmith of Piacenza origin.
He was active in Rome between 1721 and 1767. He created altar furnishings commissioned by the Pope and many aristocratic families. He created the furnishings for the chapel of San Giovanni in San Rocco in Lisbon (1745-49), the frontal for the Cathedral of Syracuse (1752), and that for the Cathedral of Siena (after 1760).
The sources recall works that no longer exist, testifying to a much more conspicuous production than that which survived the destruction and theft.
His son Innocenzo would become a well-known sculptor.
