Mario Antonio Arnaboldi was born in Milan in 1932 and graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. He began his career collaborating with Ernesto Nathan Rogers and Franco Albini at the IUAV University of Venice. He has taught at the University of Trento, the University of Sydney, was a lecturer at the University of Colorado in Denver, the College of Architecture and Planning and Columbia University in New York. He was awarded the Silver medal of the Polytechnic of Milan for his 40 years of emeritus teaching. He has received numerous awards for his 50 years of high professional quality. His presence in the field of architecture, in debates and in the news since the 1960s testifies to a unique method and experience in design. He held the role of teacher of Introductory Planning at the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Design of the Polytechnic of Milan. He was also deputy director of the architecture magazine L'Arca. His vast experience and professional and teaching activity, both in Italy and abroad, and the inclusion of his work in the international context have allowed him to have a vision of the topic of design that goes beyond local borders, overcoming the limits of the world art of construction.
