Tommaso Arscone Biography
Tommaso Arscone was born on 11 February 1980 in Genoa and, from a young age, he began to dedicate himself to painting as a self-taught artist. He experimented with different painting techniques with various materials, including canvas, board and prepared paper. After years of intense study and practice, he participated in group exhibitions in Turin and Monte Carlo in 2006. The following year, he won the award for best young artist at the II Genova Arte biennial of the Satura gallery in Genoa and presented his first exhibition personal exhibition at Palazzo Stella in 2008. Tommaso has also participated in group exhibitions and international events in the United States, such as the American Art Festival "Genova meets Easton". Furthermore, he collaborated with the famous American sculptor Karl Stirner and exhibited in two group exhibitions in Chelsea in Manhattan. In recent years, he has dedicated his time mainly to study and experimentation, developing an art characterized by the meticulous preparation of surfaces and the search for harmony and beauty. His works are characterized by strong contrasts of colour, shades and lights, with the alternation of soft brushstrokes and more intuitive and material strokes. Tommaso managed to achieve a strong visual impact and greater transport thanks to his ability to leave almost imperceptible marks in his paintings. Some of his works feature cuts and positions that leave free interpretation to the imagination of the viewer. In 2013, Tommaso began collaborating with the Galleria San Giorgio in Portofino and, in September 2014, with Trade Art, a contemporary art gallery in Milan which also allowed him to exhibit in Bahrain and Dubai. The search for harmony and beauty has always characterized his art, which has consolidated his status as an emerging artist in Italy and abroad.
