Arti & Mestieri Biography
For over forty years, an artistic and manual process has been developed that gives rise to creative expression and technical expertise, giving life to the creations of Arts and Crafts. This process is linear and sophisticated, accompanying the production of metal objects characterized by essential profiles and shapes, obtained through totally Italian research and design work. The source of creativity often lies in unexpected places. Massimo Tani, guardian of the creative spirit that has animated Arti e Mestieri for many years, is inspired by playful, sometimes surprising atmospheres and details. At his side, Francesco Adriano Pizzi has contributed his point of view to the design of each piece for over twenty years, adding a personal and refined vision to each collection. All this takes shape thanks to a unique material: iron. Essential but resistant, the iron is cut with a laser and combines with colour, creating a light and contemporary atmosphere, always capable of surprising. The genesis and creation of each object are unique: each piece comes from a different story, from the desire to tell worlds and dreams through shapes. And, above all, by the desire to add something more to what is useful. This is Arts and Crafts.
