Arnaldo Badodi (Milan, 1913 - Russia, 1943). He studied painting at the Brera Academy, where he later obtained a professorship. In 1943 he participated in the meetings of the Milanese group Corrente together with Sassu, Birolli, Tomea, Manzù, Migneco, Valenti and Fontana. The idea that these artists had in common was to oppose the culture of society, with the sole objective of bringing about a modernization of the canons of Italian art. the subjects that Badodi prefers are the spectacular environments of the circuses, the tailors' shops, the millineries, the everyday characters and the different aspects of the Milanese city, with a targeted search for its most hidden places, rich in mystery and charm. he exhibits in numerous Milanese galleries and in as many solo shows, as well as with the Corrente group.
