Born in 1944 in Florence, he undertook art and design studies in his hometown, but also in Rome and Milan. The main characteristic of Barbi's work lies in the use of high quality materials such as brass, bronze and crystal, together with his attention to detail and craftsmanship. He is particularly known for creating elegant and refined lighting fixtures, often characterized by organic and geometric shapes. Throughout her career, Barbi has had the opportunity to collaborate with prestigious clients, both luxury brands and private clients, in Europe, the United States and Asia.
