Gianni Baretta, aka Gianbar, was born in 1938 in Turin where he lives and works. Since birth he has shown a strong predisposition for painting, graduating from the Accademia Albertina Art School of Fine Arts in Turin. Soon his name crossed national borders, thanks also to his great passion for travel: Morocco, the island of Malta, Seville, Madrid, Marrakec. A mature and highly talented artist, he has always shown particular interests in esotericism.
