Enrico Bartezago (Milan, 1848 – 1937) was a genre painter, who worked in the last quarter of the 19th century.
A pupil of Giuseppe Bertini, a genre painter, he painted scenes of everyday life, preferring childhood. In the last years of the nineteenth century he also dedicated himself to landscape painting mountain views of Valsesia. During his artistic career, he received critical acclaim, winning the prestigious Milyus prize. Some of his paintings are preserved in the Pinacoteca di Brera and in the picture gallery of the Institute for the Blind in Milan.
Among his most famous works are "Sul campo di lavoro", "Max lombarda", "Trumpeter", "Organetto player", "Monkey on the Vercelli market".
