Mauro Benetti (1958 - ) was born in Beinasco in 1958. He graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and began exhibiting in 1985 at the Promotrice delle Belle Arti in Turin. In 2002 he retired to his studio in the hills, an ideal space in contact with the elements and natural processes. There are many personal exhibitions dedicated to him and awards won over the decades: since 1982 he has exhibited several times at the Persano Gallery in Turin, but also in Madrid, Brussels and France; in 2010 he exhibited at the Zabert Gallery at the Claudio Bottello Contemporary in Turin and won the Romano Reviglio National Painting Award in the same year. He has also participated in various collective exhibitions in Italy (Alessandria, Milan, Spoleto, Turin) and abroad (Athens, Brussels, Paris).
