Antal Berkes (1874-1938) was a Hungarian painter, born in Budapest, Hungary.
Berkes studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest.
He lived for a time in Paris, where he produced city views, as well as similar street scenes.
Given his growing success and popularity he began to "mass produce" many of his works for the art dealers of his time.
His works were exhibited at the Ottó Herman Museum in the exhibition entitled "Paris through the eyes of a Hungarian". The exhibition was organized by RadaR - European Association of Contemporary Art.
