Valerio Berruti has participated in numerous personal and group exhibitions, including: “Sacred representations” for Spirale Arte in Milan (2002), “Familienwertes” at the Galerie Markus Nohn in Frankfurt (2003), “Icone Domestiche” at the Spazio Obraz in Milan ( 2004), “I deserved your punishment” at Officina 14 in Rome (2005) and “Ancora Una Volta” on the occasion of the Luci d'Artista of the city of Turin (2012). In 2009 he participated in the Venice Biennale, exhibiting at the Italian Pavilion together with other contemporary painters of international standing. In 2011 he created his first Japanese solo show, Kizuna, at the Pola Museum in Tokyo, presenting a video animation with the assembly of three hundred lacquer drawings on Japanese paper. In 2012 he presented the work “Ancora Una Volta” on the occasion of the Luci d'Artista of the city of Turin.
Critics have greatly appreciated Valerio Berruti's work, and this has meant that his evaluation coefficient is very high, with prices on the rise.
Today he lives and works in Verduno.
