Jean Mario Berti (1917 - 1992). In the 1930s he attended some courses at the Brera Academy. He moves away from the figurative by using very bright colors and is subsequently influenced by MAC abstractionism and the surreal one of Baj and Dangelo. In the 1960s he arrived at a painting whose subjects were smooth dark spaces, illuminated by rough white surfaces. Of the latest production we remember the large stone totems.
