Carla Bertola was born in 1935 in Turin. Visual artist, writer, performer and promoter of cultural initiatives, she has participated in many international exhibitions. Numerous individual exhibitions as well as performances of sound poetry and action in various European cities as well as in Canada Mexico Brazil Cuba. She was Artist in Residence at the Sirius Arts Center in Ireland in 2010. She has edited and directed since 1978 together with Alberto Vitacchio the international multimedia magazine Special Offer. His verbovisual books, artist books and poems can be found in many catalogues, anthologies, public and private collections, paper and online magazines (Otoliths Ulu-late Margutte Utsanga etc). A representative selection of his works is present at the Carale Museum in Ivrea.
