Treviglio (Bergamo) 1880 - Milan 1953 Trained in Brescia with C. Bertolotti at the city art school, he established himself as an author of portraits and caricatures. In 1906 he presented at the National Exhibition in Milan, together with three family portraits, Return, Autumn and Lunar Mystery. The Symbolist inspiration also appeared in his subsequent production (Creatures of the Sea, exhibited in Venice in 1912) together with the female figures rendered with vibrant ombre effects (Pausa, 1918, Milan, Galleria d'Arte Moderna).
