Bartolomeo Bezzi was born near Trento in 1851.
He attended the Brera Academy, which unfortunately he soon had to leave due to his poor health. He continued to exhibit and win numerous awards both in Italy and abroad, preferring landscapes, especially inspired by Lombardy, the Venices and Trentino. Read the full biography

Bartolomeo Bezzi was born near Trento in 1851.
He attended the Brera Academy, which unfortunately he soon had to leave due to his poor health. He continued to exhibit and win numerous awards both in Italy and abroad, preferring landscapes, especially inspired by Lombardy, the Venices and Trentino. He also created portraits and genre paintings.
He lived in Verona from 1880 to 1890 and then in Venice until 1910. In 1910 he moved to Rome to prepare works for the Universal Exhibition of 1911, where he also exhibited landscapes of Roman subjects. He died in Cles, Trentino, on 7 October 1923.
