Nello Bocci Biography
He was born in Gubbio in 1945, attended the state institute of Gubbio, the academies of Perugia and Venice, and teaches artistic education. He made his debut in Gubbio with an anthological exhibition covering the period 1972-1984 full of experiences and reflections on being and making sculpture, and also on the role of man today in the community as confirmed and demonstrated by the various stages of development plastic, formal and content present in the works. They wrote and were interested in him: Il Messaggero Veneto, Il Tirreno, local French newspapers, Rai 1 in the Primissima broadcast, Rai 3 with news services, other Rai broadcasters and private TV channels. Among the critics: Vincenzo Perna, Mario Apice, Duccio Travaglia, Vitaliano Angelini, Luciano Marziano, Mariano Apa, Carlo Ponti, Giuseppe Maradei. He has presented exhibitions with Franco Farina, Giorgio Cortenova, Marisa Vescovo, Giorgio Bonomi, Bruno Corà. His works can be found in public and private collections, in open-air museums and at the Bargello museum in Florence. He has exhibited his works in various Italian and foreign locations.
