Giulio Boetto, born in Turin on 13 February 1894 and died in Turin on 6 April 1967, was a painter who studied at the Albertina Academy in Turin, one of the most famous and frequented by artists of the time. After finishing his studies, he exhibited his first works in 1919 at the Turin Quadrennial. Among the subjects of greatest interest to the painter are landscape and nature, inspired above all by the Piedmont countryside and the Saluzzo area. Boetto was particularly appreciated internationally, exhibiting his works in Milan, Genoa, Florence, Venice, London and Barcelona. Today, fans of his works can admire them in various Piedmontese museums, in particular at the Gallery of Modern Art in Turin and the Civic Museum of Saluzzo.
Giulio Boetto died in Turin on 6 April 1967.
