Alfonso Borghi (Reggio Emilia, 1944). Self-taught, influenced by expressionism which made him learn the secrets of matter and gestures. In the early years his style was figurative, in the 1980s he became surrealist and subsequently moved on to abstract art with a futurist imprint. He holds exhibitions in prestigious Italian, European and American galleries. In particular he exhibits at the Design Center in New York and at the Louvre in Paris.
