Antonio Borrani Biography
Antonio Borrani was born in Florence in 1943. Over the years he has participated in various collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including from 2000 to 2002 at the Galerie Dorst Naar Kunst in Holland, in 2002 in the Evolutionäre Zellen exhibition at the NGBK, Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kuns, Berlin, in 2016 at Studio Bong, Florence, in 2017 at Lex & Art Studio, Florence, in 2018 at the Obsolescence exhibition at the Sensus Foundation, Florence, and in 2019 at Sensus Vetrina in Fiesole. Among the commissioned works - in addition to those in private homes in Rome, Milan and Malibu, California - there are public works such as the stained glass windows of the Church of Santa Maria and the wall paintings of the Canonica di Tolcinasco, Milan (2002/2010), and the San Bartolomeo winery in Montepulciano (2016/2017). Borrani has also created video works, participating in events and events such as “Costaiblea Film Festival” in Comiso (2001), “Poetronica” curated by Carlo Isola in Impruneta and “Videodays” curated by Fiammetta Strigoli in Vicchio (2002), “ The move of ideas” video art review curated by Fiammetta Strigoli at Cinema Alfieri, Florence (2004), and “The move of ideas. Videodays 2” at Sala Santa Rita, Rome (2005).
