Luca Bottello (1967 - ) was born in Turin in 1967 and still lives and works there today. Art therapist registered in the APIAr.T. register. (National Register of Art Therapists), continues studies in the field of arts, architecture and art therapy. Since 1990 he has created a specific laboratory in Turin, renovated and designed all the furnishings of numerous private residences and Italian lofts and created installations for both national and international art exhibitions. He designs and directs the complete creation of a chain of museum gadget shops in Spain, designs premises in Turin, creates artistic interventions in fashion shops in Turin and Milan. He also participates in numerous art exhibitions in Italy and abroad, as a video artist proposing objects, projects, videos, installations. In 1996 he opened a studio in Turin. In 1999 he won first prize in an international design competition. Since 1999 he has held lectures on his work and perception at the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa and at the Polytechnic of Turin. Since 2001 he has run therapeutic groups and researched psychiatric wards, focusing on psychosis, schizophrenia and substance abuse. This guides his artistic and design work on a peculiar parallel path, which leads to a transversal vision of perception.
