Bourdon Sebastien (Montpellier, 1616 - Paris, 1671) He moved to Paris, training with various tradesmen and fighting against poverty. In 1634 he moved to Rome where he came into contact with the Bamboccianti and with the works of Sacchi and Caravaggio. In 1648 he was one of the founders of the Parisian Academy of Painting. Renowned painter and decorator, he became the first court painter of the royal Christina of Sweden.
