Giuseppe Bozzalla Artwork valuations, appraisals and auction estimates

Giuseppe Bozzalla was a famous Italian painter born in Biella on 2 March 1874. Thanks to the suggestion of Lorenzo Delleani, he enrolled at the Albertina Academy in Turin where he studied under the guidance of Giosuè Carducci and Giacomo Grosso.

Giuseppe Bozzalla was a famous Italian painter born in Biella on 2 March 1874. Thanks to the suggestion of Lorenzo Delleani, he enrolled at the Albertina Academy in Turin where he studied under the guidance of Giosuè Carducci and Giacomo Grosso.
He made his debut in 1903 at the Promotrice delle Belle Arti in Turin where he exhibited regularly until 1947. Among his first works is "Tra colori e vapori", from 1905, inspired by manual work, which was purchased by the king.
Bozzalla was a landscape painter who portrayed the Biella area and Piedmont in all its nuances. Some of his works are exhibited at the Gallery of Modern Art in Turin and at the Museum of the Biella Territory. Among Bozzalla's works we also remember "The winter torrent", "The last ray on the Ranzola", "First snow", "Under the pergola" and "Procession in the mountains".
During his career he participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including the 1922 Venice Biennale.
Giuseppe Bozzalla died in Pollone, Biella, on 14 February 1958, at the age of 84. Its artistic heritage is still appreciated and celebrated today.
