Giacinto Brandi (Rome, 1621 - Rome, 1691). His training took place in two important workshops, the first was that of Alessandro Algardi and the second was that of Giovanni Giacomo Sementi. In 1647, after being in Naples, he returned to Rome and joined the Accademia dei Virtuosi del Pantheon. From 1651 he attended the Accademia San Luca. He painted in important baroque churches, vault frescoes, altarpieces, decorations and valuable fresco cycles, in particular we remember those of Palazzo Pamphilj and in Piazza Navona.
