Fritz August Breuhaus De Groot Biography
Fritz August Breuhaus de Groot is one of the brightest personalities of his time in the field of academic architecture. His life, full of color and creativity, is surrounded by numerous myths and legends, some of them very bizarre. The "Fabulous FAB" himself, as he was known, always presented himself to the public with great verve, thus contributing to the birth of such myths. However, to this day, it has not been proven that he was actually born into the Breuhaus de Groot dynasty of Dutch painters. The same goes for her alleged descent from a Malay temple dancer, a story she reportedly told to a reporter in the 1950s.
Born Friedrich August Breuhaus in 1883, he lived the life of a bon vivant and lover of travel. The son of a dental technician from the city of Solingen, located in the Bergisches Land region of Germany, he became accustomed from a young age to success in his fruitful career as an architect, interior designer and craftsman. He never disdained the myths and legends that were woven around his figure.
