René Burri (Zurich, 9 April 1933 – Zurich, 20 October 2014) was a Swiss photographer. Unforgettable photographer, known above all for his reportages of some of the most important historical and cultural events of the second half of the twentieth century. He was only 22 years old when Magnum Photos published one of his reports, he «worked continuously» with important international magazines such as «Life, Look, Fortune, Epoca, Paris Match, Stern and Bunte Illustrierte». Some of his portraits are very famous, including those of "Che" Guevara and Pablo Picasso.
