Remo Buti is an Italian architect and designer (Florence 1938). Having graduated in architecture from the University of Florence, he began his career as a ceramist in factories of national importance. He joined Radical Architecture, as co-founder of the Global Tools laboratory. In the design sector, his activity in various fields is remembered, from jewelery design to furnishing fabrics and building materials. He exhibits his projects in various editions of the Milan Triennale; in 1978 he participated in the Venice Biennale with the series of Piatti d'architettura, designed in collaboration with C. Scarpa. In 1985 he designed the linguistic center of the university of S. Maria degli Angioli, in Florence; in 1988, in collaboration with A. Branzi, he won the competition for the historic center of Castel di Sangro.
