Dino Buzzati Traverso (San Pellegrino di Belluno, 1906 - Milan, 1972). A man with an eclectic artistic personality: writer, journalist, playwright, librettist, painter. During his youth, he immediately showed interest in the figurative arts and music, playing the violin and piano. The love for the mountains was also born in him early and accompanies him for life. After his studies, he worked at Corriere della Sera, where he later became editor and correspondent. In 1933 his first novel was published and he later wrote many others. In addition to writing he dedicated himself to painting and scenography.
