Loredana Cacucciolo Biography
Loredana Cacucciolo was born on 15 December 1968 in Bari, and since 1991 she has worked in Bari, Rome and Milan as a freelance artist, collaborating with international partners. His artistic research is always projected towards a contemporary and constantly evolving interpretation. Crucial to his development was his training as assistant to Maestro Ennio Calabria. Among his most important pictorial cycles are "A Night with Bukowski", inspired by the well-known American writer, and "In Andrea's Rooms", dedicated to upper-class interiors. Loredana's work is present in prestigious national and international galleries as well as in public collections, including the Molo Brin Archaeological Museum of Olbia, Shajart Art Museum of Shajart Saudi Arabia, Aldo Moro University Frescoes Hall of Bari, Mazzoleni Foundation Venice, Museum Vittoria Colonna Pescara, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa Venezia, Polocivico Diocesiano Sulmona, Musae Museo Urbano Sperimentale di Milano and Museo della Miami Contemporanea. Selected and winner of numerous important national and international painting prizes, including the Sulmona Prize, the Maccagno Prize, the Giovanni Segantini Prize, the Novara Prize, the Carlo della Zorza Prize, she has participated in international symposiums such as the International Painting Symposium of Dakar. in 2019 and Symposium of Sculpture and Painting in Penza (Russia) in 2018. Since 2010 she has been a prestigious gallery owner of historicized works. She is also a curator and promoter of contemporary art events. Among her projects are Ideation and Curation of SilentPresences, Underground and Sound Regeneration. Furthermore, Loredana is a teacher of painting and painting techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts. She has held several solo exhibitions, including "Una Notte con Bukowski" in 2016 at the Piziarte Gallery, curated by Manuela and Patrizia Alice Cucinella, with text by Carla Petrella; "Ut Poesis Pictura" in 2015 at the Societe des poetes Francais, curated by Giovanni Dotoli in Paris; "Nelle Stanze di Andrea" in 2015 at Studio D'arte Cara Beltà Taranto, curated by Arnaldo Romani Brizzi with catalog published by Vanilla Edizioni; "The Places of the Soul" in 2013 at the Piziarte Gallery, curated by Manuela and Patrizia Alice Cucinella, with text by Carla Petrella; "Rimembranze" in 2012 at the ARCA Gallery, curated by Carmelo Cipriani (exhibition catalog published by Esperidi) in Lecce; and "La Lucciola" in 2012 at ADSUM Arte Contemporanea, curated by L. In 2016 he participated in the collective project "SONORA", curated by the Puglia Region, a contemporary art exhibition curated by Loredana Cacucciolo and Pietro De Scisciolo at Palazzo Marchesale, LATERZA, Taranto, with the Cacucciolo/De Scisciolo catalogue. He also participated at the ARTISTS IN LUCE – ACMEI exhibition in 2015 at the Fiera del Levante in Bari with a catalog edited by Francesco La Carbonara.
