Fabrizio Campanella Biography
Fabrizio Campanella was born in 1965 in Rome, where he lives and works. He has exhibited in Italy and abroad since 1990. He has been invited to numerous exhibitions of national and international importance including the XIV Quadrennial of Rome, the LII Premio Termoli, the XXIX Premio Vasto (personal room with Achille Pace), the XXV and XXVII Sulmona Prize, the IV Città di Laives Prize, the II Edition of the “Hommage à Vlado Gotovac” exhibition at the “Klovicevi dvori” Gallery in Zagreb, the XLVI National Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Civic Gallery of Termoli (“Intenso Essenziale - Evolution of Abstraction in Italy"). His first solo exhibition was in 1992 at the "La Gradiva" Gallery in Rome, presented in the catalog by Silvano Giannelli. Among the subsequent solo shows, again in Rome, mention should be made of those of 1996, 2000 and 2008 at the “Studio Soligo” (respectively curated by Domenico Guzzi, Mario de Candia and Gianluca Marziani), the one of 2009 at the “Studio NIRA - Nuovi Addresses of Architectural Research”, that of 2001 at the “Observatory for the Visual Arts” of Salerno (as part of the cycle “Cognitive Systems of Art – Media and Technologies of Contemporary Art”), that of 2005 at the “Artesgarro” Gallery ” of Lonigo (Vicenza).
