Francesca Capitini (1978 - ) was born in Assisi and since she was a child she loved drawing and attended academic studies in art and restoration in Florence. In her early twenties she returned to Spello where she opened her first studio. She thus became close to all the Saints and Blesseds discovering them in old frescoes to be restored in small churches, bringing them back to their ancient splendor. He painted a scene with a Franciscan flavor in the heart of the historic Basilica of Assisi and from then on there were countless frescoes on walls and even on panels, the fame that the young artist deserves has increased a hundredfold, his notoriety is decreed by critics. But over the years he dedicated himself to painting the Saints and the Blessed, without however abounding in that part of profane art made up of splendid female and male nudes. His frescoes are however characterized by the search for maximum spirituality. The atmosphere of each painting has a slow breath composed of colored textures. The subjects are placed in an environment in which polychrome lights harmonize, which seem to be emanations of the protagonist images. Certain pictorial works bear fragments of writing and figures with faces, which emerge with an almost ashen light on a breath of green or a veil of orange.
