Caporicci managed to fully integrate the spirit and limitations of wall sculpture. This highlights the rigor and visual power of his style, embracing and exploiting a chosen technique with unfailing success. Spatial forms that are determined by the elasticity of the material, the tension of the anchoring points, the variation of dimensions and effects. Giancarlo Caporicci was born in 1946 in Naples. After graduating from the School of Fine Arts in Naples, he began his career teaching art and fashion history in Italy. At the same time he organized architectural production and decoration projects in France where he has lived for some time. In 2000 he oversaw an educational project involving nursery and primary schools in a city in the Paris region. This work allowed children to build and recover their urban environment. Hundreds of personal exhibitions in Italy, France, Spain and the United States. Giancarlo Caporicci is the author of numerous works of art and contemporary sculpture.
