Marco Carnà was born in 1929 in Passirano di Carnate (Milan). At a very young age he began to apply himself to the practice of drawing, deciding, around the age of twenty, to make a living as a painter. He joined the artistic movements of the 50s and 60s, working in numerous Italian and European cities. Rarely, except on the occasion of exhibitions or in particular moments of expressive socialization, does he leave his home and his studio, where he works on the endless illustrative cycles, the thousands of drawings, the large oil surfaces, the canvas and wood reliefs, to sculptures and bas-reliefs.
