Fabrizio Carotti (1980 - ) was born in Jesi (An) in 1980, he graduated in Philosophy, specializing in Aesthetics, at the University of Bologna. After careful research into the expressive possibilities of technological means, in 2008 he began his career as an artist, successfully operating in the field of digital painting, a definition used by the critic Gianluca Marziani to describe photographic works with digital pictorial interventions. Receiving widespread critical acclaim, he was selected by Gianluca Marziani and Valerio Dehò among the twenty participants in the 1st Zingarelli Painting Prize - Rocca delle Macìe (2010), returning to the 30 finalists under 35 of the Terna02 Prize (2009). In 2011 he participated in the 54th Venice Biennale - Italian Pavilion, selected by critics Vittorio Sgarbi and Gianluca Marziani. He publishes a book-catalogue for the Milanese art publisher Giampaolo Prearo. Since 2008 he has been present in various contemporary art fairs and participates in numerous collective exhibitions.
