Born in Lurago d'Erba, in the province of Como, in 1915 he completed his artistic studies first in Florence and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara where he graduated in 1933. Born in Lurago d'Erba, in the province of Como, in 1915 he completed his artistic studies first in Florence and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara where he graduated in 1933. In 1936 he held his first solo exhibition in his hometown, in 37 in Erba and in 1940 he took part in the group exhibitions of the La Rotonda group. He alternated his artistic activity with his teaching activity, teaching first in professional schools and then at the Brera and Cantù art schools. In 1942 a new solo show saw him present his works at the Borgonuovo Gallery in Milan. In 1951 he was at the Quadrennial in Rome. Marble and bronze sculptor. From 1955 he approached ceramics by creating some terracotta sketches at the "Fornace Artistica" ceramic factory. He died. in Inverigo, in the province of Como, in 1998
