Anna Ferrieri Castelli (Milan, 1920 - 2006). She graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan and dedicated herself to architecture, design and teaching. He works and collaborates with important names: Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Joe Colombo. He carried out research in the field of plastic processing and became a source of inspiration for the Italian company Kartell. Around the Seventies and Eighties, taking advantage of the growing progress of technology, she collaborated with the company founded by her husband and dedicated herself to the production of molded, shaped and processed plastic works. He received many awards during his long career, including, in 1987, the famous Compasso d'Oro, for the Kartell stackable chair.
