Eugenio Cecconi (Livorno, 1842 - Florence, 1903). Having graduated in Law, he followed Enrico Pollastrini's lessons at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence until 1960, the year in which he decided to dedicate himself solely to painting, abandoning the legal profession. . Among the subjects of his works, there are landscapes and hunting scenes, in the style of the Macchiaioli. He takes a trip to Tunisia, where he learns bright colors. He opens a painting school in Livorno where he teaches landscape realism.
