Carlo Ciacci was an Italian ceramist. Between 1919 and 1920 he was already the owner of a kiln in via del Gelsomino, he founded and directed the factory for the production of artistic ceramics "SIPLA" (Italian Society for Artistic Furnishings) in Rome, with headquarters in via del Crocifisso 29 ). In 1923 the same address of the "SIPLA" became the headquarters of the "SICLA" (Società Italiana Cooperativa Lavori Artistici) which brought together some ceramists who were former combatants of the Great War. Under the "SICLA" logo, the factory participated in the first Biennial of Decorative Arts in Monza in 1923. Among the collaborators of the manufacture we remember Fernando Frigiotti. The activity ceased around 1926. Specializing in furnishing accessories and ceramics, numerous artists from the Roman area collaborated, including Alfredo Biagini, Mary Pandolfi De Rinaldis, Giovanni Prini, Renzo Cellini, Roberto Rosati and Giulio Rufa.
