Born in Milan in 1910 and trained as a set designer, he began working in the world of advertising around 1928. Born in Milan in 1910 and trained as a set designer, he began working in the world of advertising around 1928. His friendship and collaboration with Marcello Nizzoli, Bruno Munari and Edoardo Persico pushed him to experiment with forms and materials, leading him from Constructivism to Rationalism of the exhibitions he designed for the Milan Triennale. During his career he served several prominent companies including Fiat, Lanerossi, Mondadori, Montecatini, Tecno and Ideal-Standard for which he designed the house organ from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. He has also collaborated with various magazines such as Domus and L' ufficio Moderno, designing various covers. After retiring from the profession, he dedicated himself to painting and sculpture. Enrico Ciuti died in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1991.
