Anna Coccoli (Brescia, 1929). She lives between Brescia and Sao Paulo, Brazil, working as a painter and sculptor. He creates works in the style of expressionist realism, moving from Latin American muralism to Pop style Totems. His artistic career began in the 1950s and the works of these years are a criticism of society and its changes. The female figure is the subject most represented by the painter, through a sign that, from subtle and elegant, becomes essential. In the Seventies he produced three-dimensional metal structures, which geometrized the human figure, explicitly paying homage to Fernand Lèger's Machine Men.
