Paul Cocksedge Biography
Paul Cocksedge, renowned designer, was born in London in 1979. After completing his studies in industrial design at Sheffield Hallam University in 1997, he decided to further dedicate himself to his passion by attending the Royal College of Art in London under the guidance of famous designer Ron Arad. At this prestigious institute, in 2002, he graduated in Product Design.
In 2003, Cocksedge founded Studio Paul Cocksedge in London together with his business partner, Joana Pinho, whom he met at the Royal College of Art. This studio is widely known for its in-depth technological research and experimentation with innovative materials, focusing, above all, on in the field of lighting. Their professional practice is extremely interdisciplinary and versatile, encompassing design concepts, art installations, public art projects, architecture and private commissions. Their notable clients include leading companies such as Sony, BMW, Flos, Swarovski and Hermès.
