Despite the Urbino period, his is a culture closely linked to Lombardy, especially in Milan, where he experienced the dreams and myths of 1968 with participation and where he draws inspiration for a large part of his works, straddling the metropolitan contradictions and the rarefied of the Lombard landscape. He expresses himself above all in painting but also in the various engraving techniques (more than 600 plates, starting from 1962), all original etchings, but he also ranges in photography and ceramics.
