Marco Cornini Biography
Marco Cornini is a sculptor born in Milan in May 1966. He attended the artistic high school and the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, where he obtained a sculpture diploma in 1988. Already during his university years he began to exhibit his works in personal and collective exhibitions.
Currently, Cornini is considered one of the most promising sculptors of the new generation, with an artistic activity lasting almost four decades. His favorite material is terracotta, with which he creates figures that represent human life. His works are not a social sample, but show particular attention to bonds and interpersonal relationships, especially on the anxious threshold of the third millennium.
Over the years he has collaborated with some avant-garde galleries in Italy and has exhibited in numerous solo and collective exhibitions. Cornini lives and works between Bussero and Milan and is considered one of the greats of contemporary sculpture. His works are admired for their natural ease and mastery of their technical and aesthetic means, which suggest a well-traced artistic path and an unmistakable talent.
