Giacinto Corsi Di Bosnasco, born in Turin on 22 April 1829 and died in the same city on 21 March 1909, was the son of Count Carlo, first president of the Court of Appeal and senator of the Kingdom of Sardinia. Giacinto Corsi Di Bosnasco, born in Turin on 22 April 1829 and died in the same city on 21 March 1909, was the son of Count Carlo, first president of the Court of Appeal and senator of the Kingdom of Sardinia. Corsi studied law, but at the same time learned painting privately. Despite his civil commitment, Corsì presented many works to the Society promoting fine arts and to the Artists' Club. He began his career with landscapes of great impact, influenced by the Piedmontese landscape painting of Angelo Beccaria and Carlo Piacenza. Since the late 1960s, Corsi has concentrated on the sea and produced paintings of impressive dimensions mostly on the theme of great natural spectacles. Corsi was influenced by the most impressive painting of the Parisian Salons and by Dutch Marinism.
Corsi died in Turin on 21 March 1909.
