Luciano Cottini was born in Brescia in 1932. He completed artistic studies in Bergamo and Milan. After his studies he moved to Milan, where he taught Figure Drawing at the Brera Art School for 25 years. Since the early 1960s he has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions. In his painting, images buried by time are evoked, situations that have the flavor of lost things, but also violent and tragic moments, in a series of linguistic suggestions from current painters to Bacon's neo-expressionism.
