Angelo Cozzi (Milan, 1934) is an Italian photographer and photojournalist. Graduated in photography, he began his career as a photographer in 1951 at a well-known agency in Milan. In the same year he was sent to Polesine to document the area devastated by the flood. In 1959 he began his collaboration with Arnoldo Mondadori Editore and with the magazine Grazia, for which he visited many countries around the world, including Greenland, the United States and the Far East. He also collaborated with the magazine Epoca and in 1966 his work for Mondadori stopped. In 1967 he began collaborating with La Domenica del Corriere, on whose cover the image of the coronation of the Shah of Persia and Farah Diba was inserted. In 1967, the photojournalist Cozzi documented the tragic events of the Six Day War in the Sinai and in 1968 he photographed the Vietnam War. In 1969 in the United States he covered the Apollo 11 mission and in 1970 he reported on Black September in Amman and was in Prague for the funeral of Jan Palach. Since 1986 he dedicated himself to advertising photography.
