1942, Chiavari (GE) He is among the first artists of his generation to apply and combine the culture of design with experiments on visual languages ​​in Italy. His complex work has its roots in multidisciplinary studies starting from 1964, the year in which he began attending the Higher Course in Industrial Design in Venice. In 1968 he moved to Rome where he came into contact with Pascali, Mattiacci and Kounellis. He directed the G. Carrara Academy of Fine Arts from 1991 to 1999, subsequently taught at the Polytechnic of Milan, at the University of Naples – L'Orientale, at the Faculty of Letters of Parma, at the IED and at the NABA in Milan . From 2004 to 2011 during the two-year specialization in Photography at the Brera Academy in Milan. For several years he was a visiting professor at the École d'Arts Appliqués in Vevey (CH).
