Renzo Crociara (1950 - ) was born in Codigoro (FE) on 4 February 1950. He began painting driven by youthful passion, reproducing themes with a social background and soon moving on to an exasperated realism well represented with large-scale self-portraits. He travels a lot between France, Spain and the United States, developing a choice of intimate painting and returning to a classic, almost exasperated figurative style, which he manifests by painting everyday objects: a vase of flowers, a pair of glasses, a chair. The great peace and serenity that shine through his works is even more accentuated in the creation of landscapes of the Po delta which he manages to render with innate mastery, permeating them with light and veils, thus creating atmospheres of other times. From 1972 to today he has held numerous exhibitions. Since 1996 he has collaborated steadily with the CD Studio d'Arte. Some of his exhibitions are noteworthy: in 2005 at the Breda museum in Padua, in 2013 with a solo exhibition at the Cd Studio d'Arte in Padua and the most recent, in 2020, at the Samonà Gallery in Padua.
